There are already some great skateparks in San Diego…two of the best being in Encinitas (Magdalena Ecke YMCA) and in Escondido. The one in Esco was just redone and is awesome! If you are looking for a public park to be built in your area, http://skatepark.org/ is a GREAT resource. They have many suggestions for fund raising and how to get in contact with the right people in the city. There’s also a message board so you can get advice from people have been successful. I have listed a few sites below for other skateparks in San Diego. Good luck.
